The Department of Public Law is dedicated to providing students with a strong academic foundation in the principles and practices of public law. It focuses on understanding the legal framework governing the relationship between individuals and public authorities, as well as the organization and functioning of state institutions.
Through its academic programs, the department seeks to develop students’ legal knowledge, analytical thinking, and practical skills, preparing them for professional careers in the judiciary, public prosecution, legal practice, government institutions, and other public-sector fields. It also encourages legal research and critical engagement with contemporary legal issues related to governance, human rights, public administration, and the rule of law.
The Department of Private Law focuses on providing students with comprehensive knowledge of the legal principles governing relationships between individuals and private entities. It equips students with a strong understanding of key areas of private law and develops their ability to analyze legal issues and apply legal principles in practical contexts.
The Department seeks to prepare qualified legal professionals capable of working in law firms, legal consultancy, private institutions, and various other legal fields. It also promotes legal research and critical thinking while addressing contemporary legal issues and contributing to the development of legal practice and the rule of law.
The Department of Sharia is dedicated to providing students with comprehensive knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), its principles, and various branches of Sharia sciences. It aims to develop a balanced understanding of Islamic legal thought and its application to contemporary issues.
The Department seeks to prepare qualified graduates who possess strong knowledge of Sharia, critical thinking, and research skills, enabling them to contribute effectively to society in academic, legal, judicial, advisory, and other professional fields. It also promotes scientific research in Islamic jurisprudence and encourages the study of contemporary issues in light of Islamic principles and values.
