- Veterinarians are guardians of biosecurity and the first line of defense against animal diseases that may be transmitted to humans (zoonotic diseases). They contribute to protecting livestock and poultry, thereby supporting food security and economic development. The Faculty has continued to evolve to keep pace with advances in the field of veterinary medicine.
- The Faculty aims to address the shortage of veterinarians and provide the local and international labor markets with qualified professionals in accordance with the standards of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH).
